If you’re a natural beauty aficionado, then you’re probably already familiar with Evolve’s Organic Natural Beauty range. Handcrafted in Hertfordshire, the brand boasts vegan, cruelty-free and eco-friendly beauty. So to put the product line through its paces, we tested a batch of it’s most popular products.

Gentle Cleansing Melt

Simple, refreshing and ideal for people with sensitive skin, the Gentle Cleansing Melt is perfect for people who want a cleanser that doesn’t strip away the natural oils from the skin. Most cleansers I’ve tried before are quite liquid-based, so I wasn’t sure how I would like the thick consistency of this cleanser. Thankfully, it’s easy to apply and as soon as it hits water, it turns soft and milky and washes off easily. There’s a slight warming sensation when you put it on your skin, but it’s not unpleasant and it can easily take off a full face of makeup.

Radiant Glow Organic Mask

Warning: you will definitely think about slathering this face mask over your morning toast at some point during the application of this. Made from raw cacao powder, vanilla oil and clay, this mask buffs the skin and washes off easily. The smell of this mask is super intense, but it leaves your skin glowy, silky-soft and smelling delicious.

Tropical Body Polish

Full of fine particles of organic sugar to help buff skin to smooth perfection, the natural coconut and blossoms of gardenia makes for sweet tropical smelling skin. Massage in, leave, then wash off to leave your skin feeling smooth. The oils from the scrub sink into your skin, so there’s no need to worry about dry, moisture-sapped legs afterwards.

The only downside is that because the mixture is quite thick, you can lose a LOT of product if you miss your leg and drop it on the shower floor, which is exactly what I did. Still, the product is an exfoliating game-changer and I would certainly buy again.

Satin Body Gloss

The words ‘Satin Body Gloss’ may remind you of your teenage years, but there’s something oddly luxurious (and nostalgia-inducing) about rubbing this golden gloss into your skin. When you first put it on you may worry, momentarily, that you’ll look a lot like the shimmering singers in 90’s music videos, but it rubs in easily and leaves you with a very slight shimmer to your skin. Perfect for finishing off a sun-kissed look.

Daily Detox Facial Wash

A simple facial wash with a silky feel, this wash contains natural Goji Berry extract and Moringa Peptides to keep you protected from pollution. Fragranced with fresh natural aloe vera, it’s kind to the skin and, unlike a lot of washes, not overwhelmingly foamy.

Daily Defence Moisture Mist

If your skin, like mine, feels permanently moisture sapped, then this daily mist is great for restoring a bit of hydration back to your skin. You only need one spray of this, so don’t be tempted to do more than two sprays, otherwise, you risk drenching your face. Super refreshing and great for storing in your handbag if you’re on the go all day.
