Beginners guide to Kundalini
What is it?
Also known as the yoga of awareness, this form of yoga focuses on awakening kundalini – the term for the spiritual energy or life force said to be located at the base of the spine. This energy is usually depicted as a coiled serpent. The purpose of the practice is to awaken the sleeping kundalini up through the six chakras, and penetrate the seventh crown chakra.
